A sub-region in a certain region is identified as an authorized sub-region for the vehicle to enter based on detecting a first object in the sub-region from the first sensor data. Parameters of the first object are then determined from the first sensor data. After detecting a second object in the sub-region from second sensor data, a parameter of the second object is determined based on the second sensor data. The sub-region is determined as valid based on a determination that the parameter of the second object is different from the parameter of the first object.
