A screw nut assembly and a worm gear are both located in a first shell, one end of an input shaft is connected with the screw nut assembly, the other end of the input shaft extends out of the first shell to be connected with a steering wheel, and the worm gear is arranged at the end, away from the input shaft, of the screw nut assembly; the rocker arm shaft is meshed with one side of the screw-nut assembly, one end of the worm is meshed with the worm gear, and the other end of the worm is connected with the driving assembly. The motor drives the worm to rotate, the worm drives the worm gear to rotate, the worm gear drives the screw and nut assembly to move, and therefore the screw and nut assembly drives the rocker arm shaft to move and complete rotation, the worm gear is arranged at the end, away from the input shaft, of the screw and nut assembly, and the worm and the driving assembly are also located at the end, away from the input shaft, of the screw and nut assembly. Therefore, the space occupied by the input shaft and the end, close to the chassis, of the screw nut assembly is greatly reduced, and when the position space, close to the chassis, of an automobile is limited, normal installation of the electric power steering gear is guaranteed.
