The invention relates to the field of engineering machinery, in particular to an engineering machinery keyless start control system which comprises a background server, a T-BOX, an HMI, a BCM, an identification relay and a start switch. A keyless starting method for engineering machinery comprises the following steps: step 1) a background server collects and compiles driver portraits to generate KEYs in one-to-one correspondence with the portraits, and compiles input vehicle codes to generate PINs; (2) T-BOX: carrying out data transmission with a background server; (3) carrying out portrait comparison on the driver by the HMI; (4) the BCM receives the message of the HMI; 5) identifying that the electric signal of the coil end of the relay is grounded and the open end of the switch end is closed; 6, the driver operates the starting switch to output a starting signal to the ECU. By means of the system and method, the vehicle can be started without a key, face data corresponding to the driver in a one-to-one mode is used, operation is fast and convenient, the vehicle can be protected, and potential safety hazards caused by key loss can be avoided.
