The present invention provides a boost charging system of a vehicle, having: an inductor; three half-bridge circuits; middle poles of the three half-bridge circuits are respectively connected with a three-phase induction coil of a motor of the vehicle; the inductor is respectively connected with middle poles of the three half-bridge circuits, and transformation switches are respectively arranged between the inductor and the three half-bridge circuits; the input circuit is connected to the two ends of the three half-bridge circuits arranged in parallel and is respectively connected with an external direct current power supply and a positive electric rail and a negative electric rail of a power battery, and a direct charging switch is arranged on the positive electric rail; and a circuit control module for controlling the operation mode of the boost charging system according to the operation condition of the vehicle. The invention further discloses a method for carrying out boost charging, buck power supply and vehicle propelling by using the boost charging system. According to the scheme, the requirement of the vehicle for the compatibility of the charging pile in different use scenes is effectively met.
