The invention relates to a computer-implemented method for evaluating the accuracy of a group trajectory position (xi, yi) of a group trajectory (xi, yi) defined by a processing device (18) on a defined road section (10), in which a plurality of own vehicle trajectory positions (xn, yn) are captured and the group trajectory position (xi, yi) is generated from the plurality of own vehicle trajectory positions, the group trajectory position (xi, yi) being determined for the group trajectory (xi, yi). According to the invention, a standard deviation (sigmai) is formed by each formed group trajectory value (xi) of the generated group trajectory positions (xi, yi), and then the generated group trajectory positions (xi, yi) and the accuracy coefficients (KG) associated with each group trajectory position (xi, yi) are stored as pairs, the accuracy coefficients (KG) being proportional to the standard deviation (sigmai). The invention also relates to a computer-implemented method for controlling a following vehicle (12), to a computer-implemented method for determining a position of a following vehicle (26) on a defined road section (10), to a control system for controlling a following vehicle (26), and to a computer program product, each using a method for evaluating accuracy.
