The invention provides a charging and discharging topology circuit of an electric vehicle and a control method of the charging and discharging topology circuit. In the circuit, any bridge arm of a first bridge is connected in parallel with a first capacitor, and an intermediate node of two switching devices in any bridge arm of the first bridge is connected to a primary side of a first transformer module and a primary side of a second transformer module; the secondary side of the first transformer module is connected to an intermediate node of two switching devices in any bridge arm of the second bridge and an intermediate node of two switching devices in a part of bridge arms of the third bridge; the secondary side of the second transformer module is connected to an intermediate node of two switching devices in any bridge arm of a third bridge and an intermediate node of two switching devices in part of bridge arms of the second bridge, any bridge arm of the second bridge is connected with a second capacitor in parallel, and any bridge arm of the third bridge is connected with a third capacitor in parallel. A plurality of switch sub-modules in the switch module are switched on or off to determine the circuit topology of the power unit with larger voltage adaptive power and power density, wherein the voltage is connected to the battery.
