The invention discloses a spray-cooled automobile power battery thermal runaway protection system and method and an automobile, and the system comprises a spraying device which comprises a spraying cover covering an automobile power battery, and the spraying cover is internally provided with a spraying nozzle; the output end of the spray nozzle faces the automobile power battery, and the input end of the spray nozzle communicates with the high-pressure refrigerant liquid output end of the automobile air conditioner refrigerating system. The spraying control module comprises a first temperature sensor arranged on the automobile power battery, an electromagnetic valve arranged between the input end of the spraying nozzle and the high-pressure refrigerant liquid output end of the automobile air conditioner refrigerating system, and a control module connected with the first temperature sensor and the electromagnetic valve; the control module is used for comparing the temperature, collected by the first temperature sensor, of the automobile power battery with a preset temperature threshold value and controlling the opening degree of the electromagnetic valve according to the comparison result. The invention aims to solve the problems of insufficient cooling effect, complicated device design and high cost in thermal runaway protection of the power battery.

    本发明公开了一种喷雾冷却的汽车动力电池热失控防护系统、方法和汽车,包括:喷雾装置,其包括罩设于汽车动力电池上的喷雾罩,喷雾罩内设置有喷雾嘴,喷雾嘴的输出端朝向汽车动力电池且输入端连通至汽车空调制冷系统的高压制冷剂液体输出端;喷雾控制模组,其包括设于汽车动力电池上的第一温度传感器、设于喷雾嘴输入端与汽车空调制冷系统的高压制冷剂液体输出端之间的电磁阀、以及与第一温度传感器和电磁阀连接的控制模块;控制模块用于将第一温度传感器采集的汽车动力电池的温度与预设温度阈值进行比较,并根据比较结果控制电磁阀的开度。本发明的目的在于解决动力电池热失控防护中冷却效果不足、装置设计复杂化以及成本高的问题。
