The present invention relates to a method for controlling side-by-side driving of vehicles, comprising: identifying whether a surrounding vehicle driving on an adjacent lane is equipped with a hub motor (S1) while a host vehicle equipped with a hub motor is driving at a speed exceeding a preset speed threshold; detecting relative position information of each wheel of the host vehicle and the surrounding vehicle if the host vehicle is recognized (S2); determining whether the front and rear wheels of the host vehicle are adjacent to the front and rear wheels of the surrounding vehicle, respectively, on the basis of the relative position information (S3); if so, calculating a first magnetic flux (S4) required for the host vehicle and the surrounding vehicle to run side by side at a constant safe lateral distance on the basis of the relative position information; and controlling a hub motor of the vehicle to generate a magnetic field with the first magnetic flux, so that the vehicle and the surrounding vehicle run side by side at a constant safe transverse distance (S5). According to the invention, collision accidents between the vehicle and surrounding vehicles can be avoided, and the driving stability is improved.

    本发明涉及一种用于控制车辆并排行驶的方法,其包括:在配备有轮毂电机的本车辆以超过预设速度阈值的速度行驶的过程中,识别在相邻车道上行驶的周围车辆是否配备有轮毂电机(S1);如果识别到,检测本车辆和周围车辆的各个车轮的相对位置信息(S2);基于相对位置信息判断本车辆的前后车轮是否分别与周围车辆的前后车轮邻近(S3);如果邻近,基于相对位置信息计算本车辆与周围车辆以恒定的安全横向间距并排行驶需要的第一磁通量(S4);控制本车辆的轮毂电机产生具有第一磁通量的磁场,使得本车辆与周围车辆以恒定的安全横向间距并排行驶(S5)。根据本发明,能够避免本车辆与周围车辆的碰撞事故,并提高行驶稳定性。
