The invention relates to a driving crosswind early warning method and system based on machine vision, and the method comprises the steps: collecting video wind field information through a vehicle-mounted camera device, carrying out the wind speed feature collection and fluid mechanics calculation of a road scene, and extracting a corresponding preset road scene wind field feature; road wind field wind speed analysis is carried out based on machine vision, and combined wind field features of visual prediction are obtained; and each vehicle calculates a crosswind early warning level based on visual prediction in combination with wind field characteristics and vehicle characteristics. Compared with the prior art, the cost of crosswind early warning in road traffic is reduced, crosswind driving safety of large vehicles is enhanced, key features of the road wind field are extracted in combination with various factors of the road environment, the problem that the road wind field is difficult to predict is solved, and lane-level crosswind real-time estimation is achieved.

    本发明涉及一种基于机器视觉的行车横风预警方法及系统,所述方法步骤包括:通过车载摄像设备采集视频风场信息,进行道路场景的风速特征采集与流体力学计算,提取相应的预设道路场景风场特征;基于机器视觉进行的道路风场风速分析,得到视觉预测的联合风场特征;每辆车辆基于视觉预测联合风场特征结合本车特性计算出横风预警等级。与现有技术相比,本发明降低了道路交通中侧风预警的成本、增强了大型车辆的侧风驾驶安全、并结合道路环境的多种因素提取了道路风场的关键特征,弥补了道路风场预测难的问题,实现了车道级的横风实时估计。
