The invention discloses a large-torque electric power assisting mechanism which comprises a shell, a shell cover, a motor assembly, a main shaft assembly, a first shaft assembly, a second shaft assembly, a torque sensor assembly and a circuit board assembly. Wherein the main shaft assembly, the first shaft assembly and the second shaft assembly are respectively meshed with one another through three gear assemblies to form three-shaft linkage; the motor assembly provides power, the torque sensor assembly receives torque signals, the circuit board assembly receives the signals to drive the motor assembly to rotate, and the three assemblies are sequentially driven to rotate through gear meshing. When the mechanism operates, high-rotating-speed and low-torque power output by a motor shaft is transmitted to the main shaft through first-stage speed reduction, second-stage speed reduction and third-stage speed reduction, the speed reduction effect is achieved, and meanwhile high-torque power is output through the main shaft. The gears are all designed to be small in modulus and multiple in tooth number, the precision grade of the gears is high, and the stability and low noise of gear operation are guaranteed, so that the loss of energy consumption is reduced, the efficiency is improved, the riding feeling is enhanced, and the riding experience is better.
