The invention relates to a system and a method for controlling a vehicle to park at a position convenient for a user to get on and off. The system includes: a driving control system for controlling driving of a vehicle; the obstacle recognition system is used for recognizing obstacles influencing getting on or off of the user in the surrounding environment of the vehicle; the driving control system is further configured to control the vehicle to park away from the identified obstacle. The embodiment of the invention can ensure the safety of the user and improve the getting-on and getting-off experience of the user.
