The invention relates to an automatic driving traffic signal lamp information acquisition system based on vehicle-road cooperation, and the system comprises a hardware collection card which is disposed in a road end device and carries out the real-time collection of the data of a road traffic signal lamp; an edge cloud platform and a central cloud platform, the edge cloud platform receives the information transmitted from the hardware acquisition card, processes the information, transmits the information to the central cloud platform, and shares the information to the peripheral edge cloud platform; after an autonomous vehicle enters a vehicle-road cooperation network coverage area, the autonomous vehicle uploads vehicle position information and path information to an edge cloud platform, and the edge cloud platform automatically issues signal lamp information in front of the vehicle to the autonomous vehicle. And the self-driving vehicle inputs the received signal lamp information to the self-driving system for decision planning. According to the invention, more reliable traffic signal lamp information can be provided for decision planning of the autonomous vehicle.
