The method comprises the following steps: constructing a vehicle linear discrete prediction model based on a long-short term memory neural network; obtaining current vehicle state information, historical vehicle state information and historical control quantity of the target vehicle; inputting the current vehicle state information, the historical vehicle state information and the historical control quantity into a vehicle linear discrete prediction model, and determining vehicle prediction state information in a prediction time domain; determining vehicle ideal state information of the target vehicle in the prediction time domain according to the current vehicle state information and the vehicle prediction state information; under the constraint of the constraint condition, determining the minimum value of the target function when the vehicle prediction state information approaches the vehicle ideal state information, and obtaining a control input quantity for longitudinal and transverse stability control; and controlling the target vehicle according to the control input quantity. According to the invention, the complexity of vehicle stability control can be reduced.
