The invention relates to the technical field of electric vehicle charging stations, in particular to an energy control strategy for bidirectional demand response of an energy storage type electric vehicle charging station, which comprises judgment conditions required by a control flow and execution commands required by the control flow: the judgment conditions required by the control flow comprise whether a vehicle is charged or not; a peak-valley normal period; whether an external power grid emergency demand exists; the electric quantity state of the storage battery; and the automobile charging demand power, the maximum discharging power of the storage battery and the maximum input power of the power grid to the charging station are compared. According to the control strategy, energy storage charging and discharging control and power grid side power supply control are selected at peak-valley time periods mainly according to the power grid-user two-way demand response condition, grid-connected master-slave control and off-grid island control are switched along with loads at all time periods, and the charging cost is the most economical under the condition that the user charging demand is guaranteed as much as possible.
