The invention provides a fuel cell vehicle with a multifunctional brake resistor, belongs to the technical field of fuel cells, and solves the problems that in the prior art, a vehicle is started too slowly when running in winter and the braking force is too small when running downhill for a long time. The vehicle is provided with a whole vehicle controller, a fuel cell engine, a power battery, a power distribution unit, a brake resistor controller, a brake resistor, a motor controller, a motor and whole vehicle accessories, and the multifunctional brake electric function can be achieved. The whole vehicle controller is used for controlling the brake resistor to emit heat when the winter environment is recognized, so that a cab is warmed, and meanwhile, the power battery is heated; and under the long downhill working condition of the vehicle, when it is recognized that the power battery is not fully charged, a built-in energy recovery program is started to convert the kinetic energy of the vehicle into electric energy to be stored in the power battery, and after it is recognized that the power battery is fully charged, a brake resistor is started, and the power of the brake resistor is controlled to provide rated braking force for the vehicle.
