The invention relates to a switch detection circuit and detection method of a high-voltage battery pack and an electric vehicle, the switch detection circuit comprises at least two detection circuits, and each detection circuit is arranged between the negative electrode of the high-voltage battery pack and a load or a power supply; wherein a cathode switch of the high-voltage battery pack is connected in parallel with the detection circuit, and an anode switch of the high-voltage battery pack is connected in series between an anode of the high-voltage battery pack and a load or a power supply; the detection circuit is provided with a cathode switch detection point and is used for detecting the detection voltage of the cathode switch when the high-voltage battery pack is in a power-on or power-off state and determining the state of the cathode switch based on the detection voltage; and a positive electrode switch detection point is arranged between the positive electrode of the high-voltage battery pack and the load or the power supply and is used for detecting the detection voltage of the positive electrode switch when the high-voltage battery pack is in a power-on or power-off state and determining the state of the positive electrode switch based on the detection voltage. According to the technical scheme, the problem that the state of the high-voltage switch of the multi-battery pack cannot be diagnosed in related technologies is solved.
