Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for context-aware verification of a sensor pipeline are disclosed. An autonomous vehicle (AV) may include a large number of sensors to provide sufficient situational awareness for the awareness and control system of the AV. In order to enable reliable operation of the systems, the integrity of data from different sensors should be checked. To this end, the systems and methods described herein may use contextual cues to ensure that data from different sensors are reliable.
