The processor judges whether the current driving condition of the failed vehicle is a parking mode or a driving mode; when the current driving condition is a parking mode, executing parking mode logic to search for a parking position of the faulty vehicle and park the faulty vehicle at the parking position; when the current driving situation is a driving mode, executing driving mode logic such that the faulty vehicle is driven on a driving route other than a slope while the faulty vehicle maintains a first inter-vehicle distance from the preceding vehicle; and when the driving route includes a congested section, executing driving mode logic such that the faulty vehicle is driven while maintaining a second inter-vehicle distance that is longer than the first inter-vehicle distance.
