The invention discloses a control method for a four-wheel-drive separator of a timely four-wheel-drive system. The control method comprises the steps that real-time data monitoring is conducted, specifically, information related to the vehicle running state is obtained in real time through an electronic control unit; and predictive control: after the two-wheel drive mode enters the four-wheel drive mode, the control torque corresponding to the four-stage separator is predicted based on the data in the real-time data monitoring step, and the four-wheel drive separator executes torque control according to a torque distribution strategy of predictive control. The method has the advantages that the four-wheel-drive separator of the vehicle is controlled based on the optimal balance of the economical efficiency, the dynamic property and the drivability of the vehicle so as to achieve timely four-wheel-drive control, the control strategy is more reasonable and scientific, the dynamic property and the drivability of vehicle running are guaranteed, and user experience is improved.
