The invention discloses an elevator allocation method. The method comprises the following steps that S1, target floors of passengers waiting for an elevator at a main floor and the number of passengers getting off the elevator corresponding to all the target floors are estimated according to historical data; s2, according to an estimation result, determining that the elevator is about to stop at a target layer for the elevator which is about to arrive at the main layer station; and S3, the to-be-arrived elevator is informed of the to-be-arrived target floor in the next operation cycle of the to-be-arrived elevator to the elevator waiting passengers. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages that passengers do not need to carry out elevator taking registration operation, and high-efficiency allocation of the elevators is achieved under the condition that the passengers do not depend on target floor registration.
