The invention discloses a force closed-loop handrail for on-orbit maintenance. The force closed-loop handrail comprises a fixed clamping mechanism, a universal force unloading mechanism, an angle adjusting mechanism, a length adjusting mechanism and a handrail grip structure. The fixed clamping mechanism can be reliably connected with a spacecraft cabin structure such as a space station, and firm support is provided for the force closed-loop handrail. The universal force unloading mechanism can be used for buffering and unloading instant overlarge impact force exerted on the handrail grip by an astronaut. The angle adjusting mechanism can achieve adjustment of the tail end handrail at any angle within the semi-conical range of the fixed supporting point. The length adjusting mechanism has length adjusting and locking functions, so that the distance between the tail end handrail and the cabin wall handrail can be relatively changed; the handrail grip structure is provided with a grip suitable for being grabbed by gloves of the astronaut, and the grip can be grabbed by the astronaut. According to the invention, the characteristic of universal swinging of the ball pair is utilized, the action direction of buffering and energy absorption is expanded, and the instantaneous impact force on the cabin body structure caused by an astronaut in the far-end force application process can be reduced.
