The invention relates to the technical field of new energy automobiles, in particular to a power battery pack, a vehicle and a method, the power battery pack comprises a first electricity storage assembly and a second electricity storage assembly, and the first electricity storage assembly and the second electricity storage assembly are both used for storing and releasing electricity. The first electricity storage assembly and the second electricity storage assembly can be mutually charged and discharged, and the electricity stored by the first electricity storage assembly is larger than the electricity stored by the second electricity storage assembly; the controller is used for controlling the first electricity storage assembly and/or the second electricity storage assembly to store electricity generated by energy recovery in the vehicle energy recovery process and controlling the first electricity storage assembly and/or the second electricity storage assembly to release electricity in the vehicle driving process so as to provide driving energy. Therefore, the problem that the service life of the power battery pack is shortened due to insufficient recycling capacity of the power battery in a high-electric-quantity state and insufficient discharging capacity of the power battery in a low-electric-quantity state in the prior art is solved.
