The invention belongs to the technical field of torque estimation, and discloses a torque estimation method and device and an automobile, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining the rotating speed of a motor, and determining a torque estimation model based on the rotating speed of the motor, the torque estimation model comprising a current model and a power model; reading a target data segment corresponding to the torque estimation model to obtain torque estimation data of a preset group number; calculating the preset group number of torque estimation data based on a torque estimation model to obtain a preset number of estimation torques; and carrying out mean value calculation on the preset number of estimated torques to obtain an estimated actual motor torque. According to the method and the device, the estimation precision of the actual output torque of the vehicle can be improved, so that the occurrence of unexpected turn-off vehicle working conditions is reduced, and the driving safety is further guaranteed.
