Techniques for determining a safe area of a vehicle are discussed herein. In some cases, the first safety zone may be based on the vehicle traveling through the environment, and the second safety zone may be based on a steering control or speed of the vehicle. A width of the safety zone may be updated based on a location of a bounding box associated with the vehicle. The location may be based on the vehicle traveling along a trajectory. The sensor data may be filtered based on sensor data that falls within the secure area.
