The invention discloses a rail transportation gravity energy storage system. The bottom storage yard and the top storage yard are used for parking the gravity energy storage rail car, and the energy conversion main ramp is located between the bottom storage yard and the top storage yard and connected with the bottom storage yard and the top storage yard. The main line rail extends from the bottom storage yard to the top storage yard through the energy conversion main ramp and is used for the gravity energy storage rail car to run; the top storage yard is an effective slope inclining in the same direction as the energy conversion main ramp, the bottom storage yard is an effective slope inclining in the reverse direction of the energy conversion main ramp, and a parking braking device is arranged on a main line track of the two storage yards; the electric energy and kinetic energy conversion and transmission mechanism is composed of a traction circulating transmission mechanism and an electric energy and kinetic energy conversion mechanism, and the traction circulating transmission mechanism and the electric energy and kinetic energy conversion mechanism are arranged along a trunk track on the energy conversion main ramp. According to the rail transportation gravity energy storage system, the construction cost can be further reduced, and the operation efficiency and the energy conversion efficiency are improved.

    本发明所述轨道运输重力储能系统,包括重力储能轨道车、用于停放重力储能轨道车的底部储存场和顶部储存场、位于底部储存场与顶部储存场之间并与它们衔接的能量转换主坡道、至少一条从底部储存场经能量转换主坡道延伸到顶部储存场的用于重力储能轨道车运行的干线轨道、电能动能转换及传动机构;顶部储存场为与能量转换主坡道同向倾斜的有效斜坡,底部储存场为与能量转换主坡道反向倾斜的有效斜坡,且两储存场的干线轨道设置有驻车制动装置;电能动能转换及传动机构由曳引循环传动机构和电能动能转换机构组成,数量至少为一组,沿能量转换主坡道上的干线轨道设置。该轨道运输重力储能系统能进一步降低建造成本,提高运行效率和能源转换效率。
