The invention discloses an electric energy storage and transportation device for rail transit, which comprises a battery box, wherein a battery jar is formed in the front end surface of the battery box, the inner wall of the interior of the battery jar is fixedly connected with a heat dissipation plate, heat conduction wires are laid in the heat dissipation plate, a storage battery is arranged inthe battery jar, the outer side surface of the storage battery is attached to the heat dissipation plate, an air passing groove is formed in the inner wall of the battery jar and located in the innerside of the heat dissipation plate, ventilation holes are formed in the front end of the battery box and located in the periphery of the battery jar, and connecting holes are formed between the air passing groove and the ventilation holes. Through the designed heat dissipation plate and the ventilation holes, the heat dissipation plate absorbs heat generated in the charging or discharging processof the storage battery, wind power in the ventilation holes rapidly dissipates heat of the heat dissipation plate through the connecting holes and the wind passing groove, and the heat dissipation plate maintains the temperature of the storage battery in a stable interval.
