The invention discloses a control method for a steel wire rope compensation device of a hoisting mechanism, which comprises the following steps of: respectively detecting load change signals of different hoisting mechanisms at the tail part of a winding drum by adopting two load sensors, and judging the load change condition of a steel wire rope; when the loads R1 and R2 of a left fulcrum and a right fulcrum are equal, namely R1-R2 is smaller than or equal to 1 (0 < = 1 < = G/2, and the total load G of the steel wire rope acting on the single winding drum is equal to the pull force of the single steel wire rope * 2), the hoisting mechanism is allowed to work normally; and when the load difference of the two fulcrums exceeds a deviation limit value, namely R1-R2 is greater than or equal to 2 (2 is greater than or equal to 0 and less than or equal to G), sending an alarm signal and controlling the hoisting mechanism to stop working.
