The invention relates to an eco-friendly vehicle and a method for controlling a valet parking mode of the eco-friendly vehicle. Methods, apparatuses, and systems for controlling valet parking modes of a vehicle are disclosed. The method may include enabling a valet parking mode, and when the valet parking mode is set, determining a parking environment of a vehicle parked in a parking area. A first signal or a second signal may be output based on a parking environment of the vehicle. The first signal may be configured to allow the vehicle to park in the parking area. The second signal may be configured to inhibit parking of the vehicle in the parking area. Determining a parking environment of a vehicle may include determining whether to restrict vehicle control of the vehicle and/or a degree of restriction of the vehicle control based on the parking environment.
