The invention relates to a method and device for updating the full charge capacity of a battery, electronic equipment and a storage medium, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining a first open-circuit voltage of the battery before charging and discharging, and obtaining a first residual electric quantity of the battery before charging and discharging according to a residual electric quantity-open-circuit voltage relation curve and the first open-circuit voltage; obtaining a second open-circuit voltage after the battery is charged and discharged to the target state, and obtaining a second residual electric quantity of the battery in the target state according to the residual electric quantity-open-circuit voltage relation curve and the second open-circuit voltage; obtaining the full charge capacity of the battery updated last time; the updated full charge capacity is obtained according to the last updated full charge capacity, the first residual electric quantity and the second residual electric quantity of the battery, and for calculation and updating of the full charge capacity of the battery, the battery does not need to be fully charged, and the battery does not need to be fully discharged after being fully charged, so that the updating cost of the full charge capacity of the battery is reduced.
