The power control method comprises the steps that if the actual running speed of the vehicle is lower than a first set threshold value, and the actual relative distance between the vehicle and a target obstacle on an expected running track is smaller than a second set threshold value, whether the actual accelerator pedal opening and closing degree is larger than a third set threshold value or not is detected; if the actual accelerator pedal opening degree is larger than a third set threshold value, corresponding actual limiting output power is determined based on the actual relative distance, the actual running speed and the actual accelerator pedal opening degree, and the actual limiting output power is smaller than first default output power corresponding to the vehicle when the vehicle reaches the accelerator pedal opening degree; the vehicle is driven based on the actual limited output power.
