The invention relates to a hoisting mechanism and a lifting device.The hoisting mechanism comprises a rack, a rope winding assembly, a rope climbing assembly and a traction rope, the rope winding assembly and the rope climbing assembly are both arranged on the rack, one end of the traction rope is sequentially connected with the rope climbing assembly and the rope winding assembly, part of the traction rope is wound around the rope winding assembly, and the rope climbing assembly is configured to be capable of achieving rope climbing through meshing of the traction rope. And the rope winding assembly is used for winding or unwinding the traction rope, the rope winding assembly is configured to be capable of detecting the tensile force of the traction rope located between the rope climbing assembly and the rope winding assembly, and the rope winding assembly adjusts the rope winding or unwinding speed according to the tensile force. The rope winding assembly of the hoisting mechanism can adjust the rope winding speed or the rope unwinding speed by detecting the tensile force of the traction rope so as to be matched with the rope climbing speed of the rope climbing assembly, the rope climbing assembly does not need to wind the traction rope, and therefore the rope climbing assembly can move at a constant speed in the traction direction, and the hoisting mechanism has high safety.
