An engine-driven industrial vehicle suppresses contact between an object and the engine-driven industrial vehicle. A forklift is provided with an engine, a power transmission mechanism, a control device, a steering yoke, and an object detection unit. The direction lever determines the advancing direction of the forklift according to the operation position. The object detection unit detects the position of an object present in the direction of travel of the forklift. The power transmission mechanism can be switched between a drive transmission state in which the driving force of the engine is transmitted to the power transmission mechanism and a drive non-transmission state in which the driving force of the engine is not transmitted to the power transmission mechanism. When the object detection unit detects an object and the detection direction of the object coincides with the travel direction determined by the travel direction determination unit, the control device sets the forklift to a start prohibition state (S3) when the vehicle speed of the forklift is equal to or less than a stop determination threshold value. In the start prohibition state (S3), the power transmission mechanism is set to a drive non-transmission state.

    一种发动机式工业车辆,抑制物体与发动机式工业车辆的接触。叉车具备发动机、动力传递机构、控制装置、方向杆以及物体检测部。方向杆根据操作位置来决定叉车的行进方向。物体检测部检测在叉车的行进方向上存在的物体的位置。动力传递机构能切换为将发动机的驱动力传递到动力传递机构的驱动传递状态、以及不使发动机的驱动力传递到动力传递机构的驱动非传递状态。控制装置在物体检测部检测到物体并且物体的检测方向与由行进方向决定部决定的行进方向一致的情况下,当叉车的车速为停止判定阈值以下时,将叉车设为起步禁止状态(S3)。在起步禁止状态(S3)中,动力传递机构被设为驱动非传递状态。
