The invention provides an intersection traffic signal lamp control method and system, and the method comprises the steps: determining whether an ambulance needs to pass through each lane or not through detecting vehicles in a set length range behind a lane stop line of each lane of an intersection, setting a lane where the ambulance closest to the intersection (namely the corresponding lane stop line) is located as a priority passing lane, and carrying out the priority passing of the ambulance. Therefore, the traffic signal lamp at the intersection is controlled according to the priority passing lane, so that the ambulance can pass through the intersection preferentially and does not need to pass forcibly in a whistling mode, the passing efficiency is improved, and the probability of traffic accidents is reduced.

    本申请提供一种路口交通信号灯控制方法及系统,通过检测路口各车道的车道停止线后设定长度范围内的车辆,确定每个车道是否有救护车需要通过,然后将距离路口(即对应车道停止线)最近的救护车所在的车道设置为优先通行车道,从而根据优先通行车道对路口的交通信号灯进行控制,使得该救护车能够优先通过路口,无需依靠鸣笛的方式强行通行,提高了通行效率,降低了发生交通事故的概率。
