According to the method, the correct driving direction of the vehicle can be initialized again without returning the dome camera to the preset position, automatic detection and active discovery of illegal behaviors such as reversing and reverse driving of the motor vehicle on the expressway can be realized, a large amount of labor cost is saved, and the response speed is higher.
本发明公开了一种基于球机的车辆逆行事件检测方法,涉及到图像处理技术领域,本发明通过对一定时间内大多数过往车辆的行驶方向进行初始化,将待识别车辆的行驶方向与初始化的方向进行比较,确认待识别车辆是否存在逆行或者倒车的问题;在使用球机进行逆行事件检测的应用场景下,无需通过手动画线的方式确定正确的车辆行驶方向,也不需要额外的信号探测器如雷达,就能够自动识别道路上行驶的车辆是否逆行,即使在转动球机后检测场景发生了剧烈变化的情况下,不需要将球机返回预置位也能重新进行车辆正确行驶方向的初始化,可以实现高速公路上机动车倒车、逆行违法行为的自动检测和主动发现,节省了大量的人力成本,响应速度也更快。
