The invention relates to a pole-mounted switch hoisting method and a hoisting support thereof.The hoisting support of a pole-mounted switch comprises a left support body installed on a left telegraph pole during use and a right support body installed on a right telegraph pole during use, and the left support body comprises a left hoop and a left cantilever capable of swinging back and forth relative to the left hoop; the swing axis of the left cantilever extends in the vertical direction. The right support comprises a right hoop and a right cantilever capable of swinging back and forth relative to the right hoop, the swinging axis of the right cantilever extends in the vertical direction, reversing pulleys allowing the pull rope to wind and reverse are rotationally assembled at the right end of the left cantilever and the left end of the right cantilever, and a cantilever reset elastic part is connected between the left cantilever and the right cantilever. According to the hoisting support and the pole-mounted switch hoisting method using the hoisting support, the pole-mounted switch can fall on the cross arm without pushing the pole-mounted switch at high altitude.
