The invention discloses an underwater robot and a control method thereof.The underwater robot comprises a robot body, a dirt suction opening is formed in the bottom of the robot body, a first water drainage opening communicated with the dirt suction opening is formed in the top of the robot body, and a second water drainage opening communicated with the first water drainage opening is further formed in the bottom of the robot body; the second drainage port is positioned on one side of the sewage suction port close to the front end; a water pumping mechanism and an escape mechanism are further arranged in the robot main body; the underwater robot has a first state for controlling water flow to flow in from the sewage suction port and to be discharged from the first water outlet, and in the first state, the water pumping mechanism works, and the escape mechanism stops working; and the underwater robot further has a second state for controlling the water flow to flow in from the first water outlet and to be discharged from the second water outlet, and in the second state, the water pumping mechanism stops working, and the escape mechanism works, so that the water flow discharged from the second water outlet lifts the front end of the robot main body by a preset angle. The invention aims to improve the obstacle crossing ability of the underwater robot.

    本发明公开一种水下机器人其控制方法,该水下机器人包括机器人主体,机器人主体的底部设有吸污口,机器人主体的顶部设有与吸污口连通的第一排水口,机器人主体的底部还设有与第一排水口连通的第二排水口,第二排水口位于吸污口靠近前端的一侧;机器人主体内还设有抽水机构和脱困机构;水下机器人具有控制水流从吸污口流入并经由第一排水口排出的第一状态,在第一状态下,抽水机构工作,脱困机构停止工作;水下机器人还具有控制水流从第一排水口流入并经由第二排水口排出的第二状态,在第二状态下,抽水机构停止工作,脱困机构工作,以使经由第二排水口排出水流将机器人主体的前端抬升预设角度。本发明旨在提升水下机器人的越障能力。
