The invention discloses an electric vehicle power battery equalization system and method. The system comprises an equalization resistor; the equalizing resistor is connected in parallel with each string of battery pack in the power battery; each equalization resistor is independently controlled through a control switch; the number of the equalization resistors is equal to that of the battery packs. The method comprises the following steps: continuously detecting the state of a power battery during power-on, reading the voltage of all strings of battery cells, checking an SOC-OCV table to obtain the SOC of each string of battery cells in the state of the power battery at the same moment, calculating the SOC range at the same moment, comparing the SOC range with a preset SOC threshold value, if the SOC range exceeds the preset SOC threshold value, calculating the equalization time, and if the equalization time exceeds the preset SOC threshold value, calculating the equalization time. Meanwhile, balancing is started; and if the SOC does not exceed the preset SOC threshold value, balancing is stopped. Meanwhile, the batteries are started for equalization, and the equalization resistor is utilized to consume a part of the energy of the monomer with the highest voltage, so that the voltage difference expansion is inhibited to the greatest extent, and the inconsistency among the battery monomers is reduced. The maximum value of the equalization time is limited to be 1%, and the risk of over-equalization is reduced.

    本发明公开了一种电动汽车动力电池均衡系统与方法,系统包括均衡电阻;所述均衡电阻并联连接动力电池中的每串电池组;每个均衡电阻通过控制开关单独控制;所述均衡电阻与电池组的数量相等。方法包括以下过程,上电时不断检测动力电池的状态,读取所有串数电芯的电压,查SOC‑OCV表得到同一时刻动力电池状态下各串电芯的SOC,并计算同一时刻的SOC极差,再将SOC极差与预设的△SOC阈值进行比较,超过预设的△SOC阈值,则计算均衡时间,同时开启均衡;没有超过预设的△SOC阈值,则停止均衡。同时开启电池进行均衡,利用均衡电阻将电压最高的单体能量消耗一部分,最大限度的抑制压差扩大,减小电池单体间的不一致性。均衡时间最大值限制为1%,降低了过均衡的风险。
