The invention discloses a modularized self-reconfiguration space soft robot, and relates to the technical field of space on-orbit service technology and safety protection. The problem that an existing space robot is poor in adaptability to the space operation environment and low in operation safety, and therefore all types of operation cannot be safely and stably completed is solved. The flexible arm comprises a flexible arm body, a flexible arm base and a free base. The soft arm is formed by mutually connecting a plurality of sections of elastic shafts through elastic shaft fixing rings; the soft arm base is connected with the soft arm through a bottom elastic shaft fixing outer ring; and the soft arm base is fixedly connected with the free base. The soft arm base comprises a motor, a pulley seat and a reel. The motor drives the reel to rotate, and a rope on the reel is reversed through the pulley seat, passes through the bottom elastic shaft fixing outer ring and is finally connected to the elastic shaft fixing outer ring. The method is used for completing service work under various space tasks.
