The invention discloses an over-travel springback type stretching mechanism locking method, which is applied to a stretching mechanism of a solar wing, and comprises the following steps: S1, unfolding the stretching mechanism, and driving a solar wing array plane to be unfolded to a limit position; and S2, tension is provided for the solar wing array plane through the uniform load system for folding, the solar wing array plane is driven to be folded to the limiting point, and therefore locking is achieved. The stretching mechanism can be reliably locked after being unfolded, no extra locking device needs to be arranged, the locking function of the stretching mechanism is provided by the uniform load system, and therefore the whole structure has the high integration degree and has the great advantage in the weight aspect. In addition, the device can be applied to deployable mechanism products of various solar wings, and has the advantages of being high in practicability and wide in applicability.
