The embodiment of the invention provides a braking mode switching method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium. The braking mode switching method and device can be used for switching a braking mode by comparing the magnitude relation between braking force correspondingly generated by the stroke of a brake pedal stepped by a driver and braking force of a current vehicle in an automatic driving mode; and only when the braking force corresponding to the brake pedal travel is greater than the braking force in the intelligent driving mode, switching of the braking force is carried out, so that the safety of vehicle driving is ensured, and the use experience feeling of a driver is improved. The braking mode switching method comprises the steps that if a target vehicle is in a braking state in an intelligent driving mode, the requested braking force and the braking pedal stroke of the target vehicle are obtained; determining a corresponding target braking force based on the brake pedal travel; when the brake pedal stroke is smaller than a first threshold value, and/or the target braking force is smaller than a second threshold value; when the target braking force is not smaller than the request braking force, the request braking force is switched into the target braking force; and braking based on the target braking force.

    本申请实施例提供了一种制动模式的切换方法、装置、电子设备及存储介质,能够通过比较驾驶员所踩下的制动踏板行程对应产生的制动力与当前车辆在自动驾驶模式下制动力的大小关系,仅仅在制动踏板行程对应制动力大于智能驾驶模式下的制动力时才进行制动力的切换,从而保证了车辆行驶的安全性,提升驾驶员的使用体验感。其中,制动模式的切换方法为:若目标车辆处于智能驾驶模式下的制动状态时,获取目标车辆的请求制动力以及制动踏板行程;基于制动踏板行程确定出对应的目标制动力;当制动踏板行程小于第一阈值时,和/或目标制动力小于第二阈值时;当目标制动力不小于请求制动力时,将请求制动力切换为目标制动力;基于目标制动力进行制动。
