When the frequency converter is below the fundamental frequency, PLC speed-limiting protection logic is adopted to control the load of the tower crane, and an operating handle of the linkage table adopts analog quantity control. The method has the advantages that the problems that current tower crane load self-adaption is achieved only through the load-following and speed-following function of a frequency converter and is effective only for lifting and only at the fundamental frequency or above are solved, the performance of the tower crane can be utilized to the maximum degree, and efficiency is higher.
