The invention relates to a steering auxiliary identification method and system for a driver. The method comprises the following steps that a vehicle-mounted entertainment system grabs wheel turning angle information sent by an electric power steering system and angle information collected by an angle sensor arranged on a vehicle four-wheel suspension main pin shaft; the steering deviation degree of the vehicle is obtained through calculation of the wheel steering angle information and the angle information; and displaying the calculated steering deviation degree of the vehicle in a liquid crystal instrument. When the four-wheel positioning of the vehicle is abnormal, a driver can quickly know the steering deviation degree displayed on the instrument, so that accidents caused by the fact that the driver cannot quickly find the four-wheel positioning abnormality of the vehicle are avoided.
