The invention relates to an electric hovercar system and a self-adaptive fault-tolerant control method. The electric hovercar system comprises a hovercar body, a first propulsion fan, a second propulsion fan, wheels, a consistency fault-tolerant control module, a hub motor and a power battery component. The first propulsion fan is fixed to the upper portion of the hovercar body, the second propulsion fan is fixed to the tail of the hovercar body, the multiple wheels are fixed to the two sides of the hovercar body, and the multiple hub motors are correspondingly connected with the wheels in a driving mode. The consistency fault-tolerant control part comprises a sensing module, a communication module and a main control module, and the main control module is connected with a management system of the power battery part, a controller of the hub motor, the sensing module and the communication module. Compared with the prior art, the method solves the problem of multi-agent fault-tolerant control with communication obstacles and unknown control directions among the electric hovercars.
