The invention relates to a method for predicting a function quality of a driver assistance function, comprising the following steps: detecting (31), by means of a first vehicle (1), information characterizing or relating to the function quality of the driver assistance function; determining (32), on the basis of the detected information and by means of a computing device (61), a function quality of a driver assistance function of a second vehicle (2), which is the same as or different from the first vehicle (1), predicted for a road segment; information about the predicted functional quality is output (33) by means of an output device (21) in a manner perceptible to a vehicle occupant of the second vehicle (2). The detection (31) of the information is carried out by accessing a control system (10) of the first vehicle (1); and/or determining (32) the predicted quality of function by accessing data provided by a control system (20) of the second vehicle (2).
