The invention relates to a drive-by-wire chassis system and an automobile chassis. The drive-by-wire chassis system comprises a first battery module, a second battery module, a first control circuit and a second control circuit. The first control circuit comprises a first control module and at least one first actuator, the first control module is connected with the first actuators and the first battery module, and the first battery module is used for supplying power to the first actuators. The second control circuit comprises a second control module and at least one second actuator, the second control module is connected with the first control module, the second actuators and the second battery module, and the second battery module is used for supplying power to the second actuators. According to the drive-by-wire chassis system, safety accidents caused by faults of the actuator or the battery module in the unmanned driving process can be avoided, redundancy control is carried out without depending on an automatic driving domain controller of the whole vehicle, safety is further improved, and the drive-by-wire chassis system can be matched with L3 and above-level automatic driving technologies.
