The invention discloses a vehicle charging method based on a parking posture, and the method comprises the steps: enabling an electric vehicle to drive into a parking space, and transmitting a charging instruction; detecting whether the parking area and the parked vehicle are suitable for charging or not according to the vehicle parking position; if yes, controlling a charging device to charge the vehicle according to the charging instruction; otherwise, the vehicle needs to be parked again; after the vehicle is charged, the charging device is withdrawn, and charging completion information and a charging bill are generated; the invention further discloses a vehicle charging system based on the parking posture. The vehicle charging system comprises an acquisition module, a detection module, a judgment module and a processing module. After the electric vehicle is driven into the parking space and the charging instruction is sent out, whether the parking area and the parked vehicle are suitable for charging or not is detected, and the situation that after the charging device completes charging of the vehicle, when the charging gun pops up or retracts, the vehicle is parked closely or is parked irregularly is avoided. And unnecessary economic loss caused by the fact that the charging gun hits other surrounding vehicles is avoided.
