The tower crane auxiliary driving system comprises an industrial control computer module, a tower crane pose sensing module, a radar-based anti-collision module, a lifting hook visualization module, a fault diagnosis acquisition module, a driver behavior monitoring module, an edge computing system and an industrial center cloud data platform. Through cloud-edge cooperation, the advantages of cloud computing and edge computing are fully integrated, which is a key to digitization and intellectualization of the tower crane. The tower crane and the driver are ensured to work in a safe condition in the whole process by monitoring the tower crane including the driver in all directions and providing an auxiliary driving function, so that the danger of the tower crane in working is greatly reduced. According to the method, the powerful resource capacity of cloud computing and the ultra-low time delay characteristic of edge computing are combined through cloud edge collaboration, and the goal of collaborative optimization is achieved.
