The invention provides an acceleration control method and device for vehicle adaptive cruise and electronic equipment, and the method comprises the steps: determining a preset cruise speed of a vehicle after detecting that a cruise mode of the vehicle is triggered, and obtaining the real-time speed of the vehicle in real time; whether the real-time vehicle speed is smaller than the cruising vehicle speed or not is determined, and if yes, the maximum torque corresponding to the vehicle is obtained; determining a target torque according to the real-time vehicle speed, the cruising vehicle speed and the maximum torque; and controlling the vehicle to output according to the target torque so as to control the vehicle speed change. After the vehicle is switched to the cruise function, the safety problem and the riding comfort problem caused by rapid acceleration due to the fact that the speed difference is too large are effectively avoided.
