The invention relates to the technical field of vehicle collision detection, and provides a vehicle collision detection method and a storage medium, an actual vehicle body of a vehicle is virtualized into a rectangular model through coordinate conversion, and whether a collision risk exists or not is judged by judging whether the rectangular models of the vehicle and a to-be-detected vehicle coincide or not; meanwhile, a preset formula is designed, vectors of any angular point on the vehicle and four angular points of the to-be-detected vehicle are calculated firstly, then values of every two adjacent vectors are calculated, and whether the values are larger than zero or not is judged, so that whether the angular point (any angular point) makes contact with or is in the rectangular model represented by the to-be-detected vehicle or not can be rapidly determined. Therefore, the collision calculation amount can be greatly reduced, the calculation process is simple and efficient, the calculation efficiency can be effectively improved, and the method can be suitable for any vehicle type.

    本发明涉及车辆碰撞检测技术领域,提供一种车辆碰撞检测方法及存储介质,通过坐标转换将车辆实际的车身虚拟为矩形模型,通过对本车与待检测车辆的矩形模型是否重合来判断是否存在碰撞风险;同时设计预设公式,先计算本车上的任一角点与待检测车辆4个角点的向量,后计算两两相邻向量的值并判断是否大于零,从而可快速确定此角点(上述“任一角点”)是否与待检测车辆所代表的矩形模型接触或在其内部,进而确定是否存在碰撞风险,从而可大幅度降低碰撞计算量,计算过程简单高效,从而可有效提高计算效率,且可适用于任何车型。
