The invention provides a working method of a central slip ring shifting fork, which comprises the following specific steps of: (1) determining and selecting a hollow steel sliding distance of one device and another central slip ring shifting fork which is larger than the fluctuation adjusting distance between the device and the other device according to the requirement of the fluctuation adjusting distance between the device and the other device, the upper part of the shifting fork is fixedly connected with equipment by fixedly connecting the connecting flat plate to the equipment; (2) the lower part of the shifting fork is fixedly connected with another device by fixedly connecting the channel steel to the other device; (3) the second hollow steel at the lower part of the shifting fork is nested in the first hollow steel at the upper part of the shifting fork, so that relative sliding between the hollow steel is realized; (4) when the distance between the two pieces of equipment needs to be adjusted in a fluctuating mode, the shifting fork upper part and the shifting fork lower part slide relatively; and (5) when the two devices need to rotate at the same time, the device fixedly connected with the connecting flat plate of the upper part of the shifting fork can drive the device fixedly connected with the channel steel of the lower part of the shifting fork to rotate at the same time through the nested hollow steel.
